I recently went on a road trip to France and other parts of Europe for weeks and I need to store some luggage which I will not want to carry along. And finally I found StoragePal offering exactly the right kind of service for my needs (Airport storage is too expensive for more than a few days and other long-term storage option requires IDs which we non-residents cannot provide). I love StoragePal's customer service, which was friendly and prompt in answering my queries. Their website interface is intuitive to use and their rates are pocket-friendly too. My only regret is that in case you need to withdraw your items, you have no direct access, you have to take an appointment with the team far before hand. Not so easy to organise yourself.

How do I make a claim?

Send our claim form within 48 hours of finding the damage, with photos from several angles and a detailed description.

What does the guarantee cover?

Eligible damage during storage, up to your level. It does not cover transport, handling, poor packing or an article’s own flaws. Damage on delivery goes to the partner carrier’s insurance: note it on the receipt.

Do I need my own insurance?

Yes. Your own insurance must cover your articles at their full replacement value. Claim from your insurer first: the guarantee covers what is left, up to your level. It does not apply while a bill is unpaid.

How much cover can I choose?

Every order includes €500. In your cart, you can choose €1,000, €2,500, €5,000 or €10,000. To change it later, go to your order: the new level starts on your next billing date.

How is a payment worked out?

We start from your level, which is your declared value. We take off what your insurer and the warehouse partner paid, then wear and tear, then the 20% deductible. Declaring too low cuts the payment in proportion.

Can anyone open my boxes?

No. Nobody opens them unless you agree, except in an emergency. To check an article, ask for a photo (€3), or for us to open and check a box (€25).
